Good morning Jacob 🙏 As much as I would like to see you as Party Chairman I fear any new Leader who would appoint your good self will not be allowed to step outside the current narrative dictated not by those on these shores but by a global elite intent on destroying what's left of western democracy. I'm not sure Robert Jenrick is up to the job of Leader of the Opposition it requires a cool head and a determination to hold government to account. Does he have that? I don't see much of that happening currently except by Reform MPs. I and doubtless thousands of ex Conservative members are bitterly disappointed in the Party and will require a lot of convincing to vote Conservative in future.

As I set out in my opening article, the global elite is the problem, and for the Conservative Party to succeed it must represent the democratic ambitions of the nation, not the Blob.

I think Jenrick is the man to try

All good points Sir Jacob…I think the job of party chairman will be a good role for you but I really think you need to make another run at being an MP so YOU can be Prime Minister. Looking at who in the party has the right values AND ideas and it’s you. So yes rebuild the party, get into a truce with Reform and let’s get the UK back from the socialists and communists and give it back to the people. I truly believe that whoever wins this contest will likely be a caretaker anyway until a real, strong and smart leader comes around. For me that is you Sir Jacob. Thanks for reading.

Greetings Jacob,

I think it is an interesting delegation for you to take up. I hope you do become Party Chairman and I hope you are ready to be very competitive.

Immigration isn’t the only issue but it is your margin to win that you’ve lost. The reality is ever since 1999 in the European elections, immigration has been on the ballot. It was on the ballot in the 2014 elections. It was a huge issue for the Brexit referendum and for the 2019 majority.

The cold blooded refusal of the Tories with a massive majority to get anything, even just the Rwanda plan across the board leaves the party in shambles because it can do nothing to win credibility out of power and can’t get into power without credibility.

If Reform and the Conservatives had coordinated tactically Labour would have 100 fewer seats and the opposition would have more credibility. That ship has sailed. Nigel Farage made one error recently in not supporting deportations where Jenrick supports deportations. I would not count on Farage erring his way out of your way.

I think it’s important as the future Chairman to remember the 2009 and 2014 European elections. In 2009, of all parties, the BNP won two seats with a million votes. Nigel Farage’s magnum opus was stealing those votes with a vetted UKIP in 2014. He managed to take voters from a party with a terrible brand and win. He carried those voters into the referendum and without the former BNP vote the referendum would have swung Remain. Once again he’s flanked ironically by UKIP, the Homeland party, etc.

That masterclass showing of pure politics in 2014 and the referendum is one of the most consequential showings this century. As Chairman, with the Leader, this is perhaps even more difficult dealing with four million votes to Remain than the million Nigel had to take from the BNP. An alliance would have been brilliant for 2024. For 2029, or in God’s mercy sooner, it must be attractive as the easier way out and it might be the right choice.

The crux of what I wanted to say is that the position must be recognized as Herculean and it will be incredibly difficult to win votes from every corner: be it radicals, moderates, and groups with a tight circle of consensus and who disagree more widely. That neglected tight circle has been immigration for a decade since Nigel’s 2014 triumph.

There are trends in Europe that are positive for conservatives. From the Top Down there are The Patriots led by Hungary and the Netherlands and from the grass roots there is France, Germany, and Austria. There are much wider conservative youth presence than simply wearing blue at University. It will be invaluable in motivating people to the polls who have never voted as both Le Pen and Trump have succeeded.

If you are Chairman trying to untie this knot it will be very entertaining with your wit, charm, and intelligence. I hope to see the political competitor as well.

I suggest you read Michael Crick's excellent bio of Farage. As far as I'm concerned NF is a security services stooge.Like a pressure cooker he let's people let off steam and then what ?Sell the chairmanship to an immigrant,it will be interesting to see how many people renew their membership .The Conservatives are still the opposition, hence why JRM stays with them.As John Major wisely said recently ,the Tories lost a mere 5 seats to Reform. There are as many people who dislike Farage as those who consider him the new Messiah.

Thanks for the suggestion. The Chairman he picked definitely might be a serious error but you could say the same thing about Kemi being an error. I don’t discount what Nigel did with UKIP. I understand he’s polarizing

It was typically decent of Jacob to have professor Miller on his show recently .I'm glad he has been exonerated by the courts, especially after the machinations of the Jewish students at Bristol University ,the poor soul was unfairly dismissed ,I hope he gets a whopping settlement.

Whoever wins needs to come to an accommodation with Reform or it won’t matter - Labour will win next time on a third of the vote.

Jenrick seems to think Reform can be rolled over. That will prove a costly delusion.

Leaving the European Court of Human Rights cannot really be achieved without leaving the entire Council of Europe and I'm not sure that the geo-political implications of that have been properly thought out.

In these terms I think leaving the Convention, rather than the Court, is the difficulty. Direct appeal to the Court was not initially allowed, and the Human Rights Act gives the Court's judgements weight in domestic law.

Very interesting but I am totally uninspired by either candidate. It comes as no surprise that Jacob should support Jenrick because like him he is a Zionist(who can forget how Jenrick tried to save the Jewish pornographer "dirty Des" 50 million in taxes ).Jenrick is Israel's man,he is constantly harking on about his in-laws who survived the holocaust, yawn, one begins to doubt the efficiency ,much vaunted,of the Nazis. He is simply an opportunist and his opponent is worse .Neither of them offer anything of substance and I have no hesitation in saying Jenrick is a slime ball.Israel is a terrorist state founded in terrorism, what does Jenrick intend to do about the genocide we are witnessing perpetrated by Israel.?Hitler taught them well.

Wish people would stop saying "Kemi "as if they know her by her Christian name ."Kemi " is an abbreviation of her totally unprounanceable African name.Indeed I well recall one of my favourite waiters at La Fontaine in Salisbury Rhodesia. He was"Again"I wonder why.?

The choice is a poor one for members. James Cleverley should have been on the ballot but stupid game playing eliminated him. Mr Jenrick is a election losing extreme right wing MP. Kemi has a reputation of being aggressively unkind to staff. True? I think so given the volume of reports. Brace yourselves for another Labour victory next time. Majority reduced but still a comfortable 40 plus.

Hopefully we can turn High Wycombe blue again. Our new Labour MP was a. MP in the past who lost that seat after one term.

Asked for a meeting with her on an issue of concern to me. She has graciously granted me a 10 minute phone call on 25.10 24.

Although I am supporting Robert I think that Kemi is a very respectable candidate.
