The Global Elite are not a shadowy elite who seek to rule the world. They are not Lizard Men or even the ‘Illuminati’, once a term used to describe the baptised, but now used to cover any sect or secret society professing to have superior enlightenment.

Instead, the global elite are those that think that the world would be better governed through international arrangements rather than by the democracy of sovereign states. They believe that by pooling sovereignty, governments can achieve more and manage affairs better, and in recent decades they have taken some of the means of doing this into their hands, albeit without democratic consent.
